Advanced, Complex & Novel Operations
Talk to us if you have advanced, complex, new or unusual operations. We have:
- Conducted advanced analysis to provide the foundation for regulatory approvals.
- Prepared the SORA analysis for advanced and complex operations.
- Written operating manuals for certification of manned aircraft operations.
- Converted foreign manuals for specialised operations to be compliant with New Zealand regulations.
We were the first to implement procedures for aerial agrichemical application (spraying and topdressing) that subsequently became widely adopted. And we are the first to offer standardised procedures for payload delivery operations (see below).
Payload Delivery
DJI is the first major manufacturer to provide a dedicated payload delivery drone (the FlyCart 30) and a manufacturer’s attachment for lifting (for the T100). From an operational perspective there are various considerations you will need to take into account, including payload weight, risk buffers, dangerous goods, and operational procedures.
See below for:
To find out more about the Flycart or Agras T100, contact the official exclusive New Zealand distributor Ferntech.
FlyCart Procedures Supplement
Fenix UAS has developed the DJI FlyCart Procedures Supplement to address all the procedures you will need to operate the FlyCart:
- Payload weight and flight time determination;
- Ground risk buffers required between the Flycart and uninvolved persons;
- Cargo box operation procedures;
- Winch system operation procedures;
- Carriage of Dangerous Goods;
- Maintenance programme.
The procedures in the supplement document the workflow in the DJI training videos, together with additional requirements mandated by the CAA and New Zealand legislation.

Agras T100 Procedures
The DJI Agras T100 has a massive 100kg sling load lift capability. Fenix UAS has developed our DJI Agras T100 Operations & Maintenance Supplement to address all the procedures you will need to operate the T100:
- Ground risk buffers required between the T100 and people;
- Sling load procedures;
- Carriage of Dangerous Goods;
- Maintenance programme.
The procedures in the supplement document the workflow in the DJI training videos, together with additional requirements mandated by the CAA and New Zealand legislation.
Depending on the nature of your operations, the T100 procedures can either be incorporated into your main operations manual or can be provided as a supplement to your main manual.
