Part 102 Certification
Demonstrate that you are a competent operator with a robust safety management system.
Part 102 Certification for Your Operations
Fenix UAS specialises in operator certification for all forms of aviation, and can assist with your needs. Fenix UAS have prepared expositions for UAV operators ranging from simple to complex.
For a small organisation the exposition will include all the systems you may require, and for large organisations the exposition can be integrated with your existing organisational systems.
Our expositions are designed to aid compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 as well as with the civil aviation regulations.
Part 102 Certification, Done With You
The template approach
- ✕A generic exposition that may not reflect how you actually operate
- ✕Left to work through different pieces of legislation yourself
- ✕Documentation that still needs to be adapted to your operations
- ✕Limited guidance when questions arise
- ✕Uncertainty about what to expect during the assessment process
With Fenix UAS, it’s different
- ✓An exposition built around how you actually operate
- ✓Guidance to help bring the relevant requirements together
- ✓Support from your first consultation through to CAA approval
- ✓Preparation to help you understand the process and what to expect
- ✓A team with experience across a range of operational areas

Your path to Part 102 certification
Two pieces of work run side by side: your exposition and application, and the fit and proper person process. Here’s who does what, and when.
- Draft prepared
- Client review
- Exposition finalised
- Assessment by CAA
- Fenix UAS
- You
- CAA
- Ministry of Justice
Preparing Your Exposition
We’ll discuss your requirements and prepare a written proposal. Once you’ve accepted it, we’ll send you questions to gather the information needed to prepare your exposition.
We’ll then prepare a draft for your review. We’ll discuss the requirements with you, work through any questions and use your feedback to finalise the exposition and associated rule compliance matrices.
The CAA requires a person to have primary responsibility for the UAS operations.
Fit and Proper Person Process
Fenix UAS will guide you through collecting and preparing the documentation required for the CAA’s Fit and Proper Person assessment.
This includes the relevant criminal record history and demerit point and traffic offence history, along with documentation requirements for proof of identity and proof of address for service.
We’ll help you understand the requirements and prepare for the process.
We know what we’re doing in the Part 102 space,
and we’ll be beside you the whole way.
Whether you are a small operator or a large organisation, we can help you prepare your exposition and guide you through the certification process.
